This course emphasizes the principles and procedures of how records are created, stored, retrieved, retained, and disposed of using standard database software programs. The student will gain an understanding of the basics of database design and the very specific relationships among objects which comprise a database. CIT-270 Programming & Software Development Capstone

Prerequisite: CIT-160 with a "C" (2.00) grade or better. Course is graded A-F.
This course introduces the student to the application of computer programming using a relational database and system development concepts, principles and practices to create a comprehensive system development project. The student is required to analyze, design, program, test and document realistic systems using a specified current database technology. The student works on an independent-study basis with the guidance of the faculty.Requisites:CIT-160 with a "C" (2.00) grade or better - Must be completed prior to taking this course.
