    ENGR-101 Introduction to Engineering Technology

    2 credit hour, 2 contact hour (2 hour lecture and 0 hours lab).

    Prerequisite: None. Course is graded A-F.

    This course provides an introduction to engineering technology. The course will provide an overview of career options in engineering technology as well as the professional standards of this career path. The student will participate in group projects as they learn to function in a team in the academic setting. Through projects and assignments, the student will learn to solve problems related to engineering and begin to develop skills related to applications of engineering. The course will also provide an overview of occupational safety.

    ENGR-101 replaces ENGR-100.
